I have very little experience about mocking, but one I remember. In the beginning of 1980’s I worked as a system analyst in Vantaa Finland.

I got a little verbal ridicule from one of my colleagues. He was an aggressive communist. There was also another communist man in our department, but he didn’t mock. He was tolerant. In those days, I practically tried to learn this:

Jesus:

11. ”Blessed are you when people reproach you, persecute you, and say all kinds of evil against you falsely, for my sake.

12. Rejoice, and be exceedingly glad, for great is your reward in heaven. For that is how they persecuted the prophets who were before you. ”  Matt.5:11-12 WEB

It is not easy lesson always, but brother or sister, be sure that God is with you every day and night. May He give His shield, Peace and Power to you, my brother in Christ!

Of course my experience was very small when compared to christians in countries where they may be killed. Anyway attitudes against true believers are varying. You, my brother or sister in Christ, if you live in so called christian country, you may get verbal mocking anyway.

Don’t be afraid. Jesus told that already when he lived as a human man here on earth.

Read Matthew 10:18-31

DON’T BE AFRAID! JESUS KNOWS YOU, YOUR SITUATION AND HE LEADS YOU TO THE HEAVENLY HOME.

Amen.
