Praying or publishing opinions?

Seek the peace of the city where I have caused you to be carried away captive, and pray to Yahweh for it; for in the peace of it shall you have peace.

Jer. 29:7 WEB

I am very eager to publish my opinions according to life in the city and country where I live. In too many cases I think that councellors and congressmen have done wrong decisions. Compared to Bible’s word there are more new laws that are opposite of God’s word than many decades ago. That is true.

Anyway, could it be more effective to use more time to prayers than publishing opinions? Or am I unconcerned, if I don’t write and publish my opinions?

I exhort therefore, first of all, that petitions, prayers, intercessions, and givings of thanks, be made for all men: for kings and all who are in high places; that we may lead a tranquil and quiet life in all godliness and reverence. For this is good and acceptable in the sight of God our Savior;

1 Tim. 2:1-3 WEB

My prayer is:

Oh, dear God, please lead me by your Holy Spirit and guide me by your eternal Word!

In Jesus Christ’s Holy Name!

Amen.
